It is the operator’s responsibility to fulfill all legal requirements of the respective Civil Aviation Authority in regard to crew training as well as to ensure the validity of all necessary aviation licenses, medical checks, scheduling and supervising of simulator and flight training, scheduling of check flights and planning of crew duty times.
The operator’s Flight Coordination Centre (FCC) is available to the aircraft owner 24 hours a day throughout the entire year to receive and process flight requests. It is responsible for all flight planning and ground services for the aircraft including:
- Route and Flight Planning
- Completion and filing of ATC as well as computerized flight plans
- Weight & Balance
- Obtaining over flight and landing permissions as well as airport and en-route slots
- Crew briefing
- Organizing and providing ground handling services for the aircraft, passengers and crew, catering arrangement, booking of crew airline tickets and crew hotel accommodation as well as ground transportation
